Progressive Rail Specialized Logistics is your single source contact for moving waste and hazardous materials by rail. From chemical plant, transfer station, or remediation site, we will coordinate ordering the empty railcars into your facility and tendering a bill of lading when the railcars are loaded. From there your shipment is continually monitored until final delivery. Origin and destination drayage can be arranged via one of our trucking partners.

The customers’ only responsibility is to load the car and furnish us with a Material Data Safety Sheet.
Paperwork management. We produce the hazmat bill of ladings for all shipments, pay the freight bills, and deal with any communications with the railroads and truckers.
We can handle shipments in gondolas, tank cars, containers, or boxcars.
Railcars. Through our parent company, we can supply customers’ rail equipment needs through sale or lease.
Progressive Rail Specialized Logistics carries a $5,000,000 pollution insurance policy.
Visibility. Receive daily tracking reports on all loads and empties regardless of where they are in North America.
Reports. We can generate reports for fleets in captive service showing days under load, number of dwell days at consignee, average transit time, and many other variables.
Fleet management assistance. We can report when your customers are delaying cars in your fleets. Cars are expensive and scarce. Don’t let your customers use your cars as a rolling warehouse.
